Springtime in January

On Friday, it got up to almost 70 degrees outside!   It was the perfect day to try out Miriam’s new-to-her pink Radio Flyer tricycle.
She got the hang of it pretty well … but the most fun was just rolling down the driveway – freestyle!  Pedaling was too complicated.
Before naptime, we spent some time at the local playground.   What a treat to enjoy the slides and climbing around before the real cold winter weather sets in some time this coming week and keeps us indoors!
For now, the winter coats are still hung up in the closet.  As someone said to me recently, this streak of nice weather and sunshine will hopefully make the winter seem shorter.  Usually we’ve had some snow by now and are freezing.
What’s the weather like in your neck of the woods?

When I just took the kids to school (8:00) I heard the birds chirping. So special. It looks really spring here, like in your country. Nice pictures of your pink girl. This gives them some vitamin D. Fine.
