This weekend, we went to visit the Grandparents who live near Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. There is a section of the park just for “little kids” who can’t ride the super tall, super fast rollercoasters yet … but until now, MiMi had been less than 36 inches tall, so she was only allowed to ride a few of the rides.
This Saturday, MiMi measured in at 36 1/2 inches tall at the special kid-measuring station where each child gets an arm band that shows what rides he/she can go on!! That meant she could ride her first “roller-coaster”!
Daddy took her … and she LOVED it!
It was about a perfect day weather-wise … and the park wasn’t very crowded.
All the kids got to ride all the rides they wanted – over and over again … Drew and Annie-Belle enjoyed all the crazy-big rollercoasters several times each as well.
MiMi (Daddy, Annie-Belle, and I) rode in frogs, elephants, ladybugs, caterpillars, and butterflies … and in a ship and as a grand finale’, we all went on FIRE IN THE HOLE.
We enjoyed a peaceful weekend away … and today’s church service at Daniel’s parents’ church was such a blessing. We observed the Lord’s supper, and the pastor challenged us to REMEMBER when we first accepted Jesus into our lives, to remember what He had done for us, and to remember our purpose – to glorify and serve God.
Hope you had a nice weekend, too
